The live-aboard of choice for photographers and video-makers, NAI'A sponsors a variety of international underwater photography and video competitions. We regularly host special guest photographers and video-professionals who present workshops on-board and offer their expertise and experience to interested NAI'A divers.

Fiji's Colorful Creatures on IMAX
Renowned underwater cinematographers, Howard and Michele Hall, have teamed up with IMAX film producers MacGillivray Freeman (Everest, Dolphins, The Living Sea) to make Coral Reef Adventure for giant screen released in February 2003. They chose NAI'A's lavish dive sites and Fiji's fascinating animals to star in the story which also explores how the Hall's actually achieve their incredible shots using customized IMAX equipment and rebreather technology. During the three months of filming in Fiji, NAI'A cruise directors Rob Barrel and Cat Holloway, plus some NAI'A crew, worked as the film company's dive guides and assistants.For more on the Hall's, check out: www.howardhall.com/currentpro.html

We are unable any longer to buy fresh chemicals in Fiji. Guests may bring their own chemicals and cruise directors will process film on our equipment with the client's chemicals at a charge of US$10/roll. Please make your request on your Cruise Application Form or by email to explore@naia.com.fj.
